What's new
BedReady ships often. Here's what's landed recently in the converter, the browser extension, and the library.
July 2026
A fresh new look — light & dark
BedReady got a full redesign with a color-forward identity and a proper light and dark theme — pick either, or let it follow your system, and flip it any time from the top bar.
A cleaner, image-forward library
The gallery now leads with big covers, shows who shared each file, and tucks every filter behind one tidy panel — so browsing stays uncluttered and reads newest-first.
Browse the library →Verified U1 profiles, at a glance
Files backed by a profile proven to print on a real Snapmaker U1 now carry a green ✓ — on cards, file pages and maker profiles — so you can trust a model before you print it.
Reads PrusaSlicer & OrcaSlicer ColorMix files
Drop in a PrusaSlicer / Orca ColorMix (mixed-filament) .3mf and the converter recognises its 4 base filaments and their mixes, keeping Full Spectrum on so every color survives the trip to the U1.

Each design now leads with a large preview, with a sticky side panel for the download, the tested profile, and the model's key facts.
Maker profiles you can follow
Everyone who shares a file gets a public profile — avatar, bio, links, pinned files and photos of their prints — and you can follow makers to hear about new files.
A safer, tidier library
Files can be marked adult/NSFW — blurred, badged, and shown only to signed-in, age-confirmed users — and every upload now picks a category so the library stays easy to browse.
Smoother sharing
Uploading is now a clean, step-by-step form with a real progress bar, drag-to-reorder photos, and one-click auto-fill of your tested settings straight from a converted .3mf.
Share a file →The extension now works in Firefox
The BedReady browser extension is available for Firefox, alongside Chrome & Edge — convert a .3mf right on the MakerWorld / Printables / Thingiverse download page.
Get the extension →Full Spectrum everywhere in the extension
Files with more than 4 colors now keep every color by dithering mixes of your 4 filaments — automatically on the download page, and with an on/off toggle in the popup.
Colors match what the U1 actually prints
The converter now uses CIEDE2000 perceptual color matching and the same pigment-mixing model as Snapmaker Orca, so the on-screen preview lines up with the real print.
3-filament Full Spectrum mixes
A color that no pair of filaments can reach now gets matched by a 3-filament gradient — a noticeably closer result on hard colors.
Color-band detection
For models whose colors change by height, the converter spots the bands and tells you the exact filament-swap heights — so you can print every color exactly, no mixing needed.

June 2026
Mix from your own filaments (CMYK)
Reproduce a model's colors as blends of the 4 filaments you have loaded — at any color count — with an editable recipe for each color.
Material awareness
Designs can flag the filament family they need (rigid or flexible/TPU), with a “Flexible” library filter so you know a model needs stretchy filament before you print it.
Browse the library →Storage-system tags
Gridfinity, Multiboard, OpenGrid, HSW and Skadis are tagged and filterable, so you can find models that fit the grid you already own.
Filter the library by color count
Narrow the library to 1–4-color models to match the filaments you have loaded on the U1.
