Terms of Use

These terms are written in English, and the English version is the one that applies.

BedReady is a place to share and find 3D-print files, with a focus on files that are proven to print on the Snapmaker U1. By using the site you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. What BedReady is, and is not

BedReady hosts listings and files that its users upload. It is closer to a classifieds board than a shop: it is not a marketplace and it is not a party to any sale between users. It does not sell the files listed on it, does not take a commission on them, and — as set out in section 6 — never receives, holds or distributes money that passes between a buyer and a creator.

2. Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping your sign-in details to yourself. Give accurate information when you register. Do not impersonate anyone else, and do not present someone else's work as your own.

3. What you upload

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant BedReady the permission it needs to host, display, and distribute your files and photos on the site so the site can function — nothing wider than that, and it ends when you remove the content.

You must have the right to upload what you upload, and to apply the licence you choose. If you are sharing someone else's design, say so and credit them, and only do it where their licence allows it. Respect the licence a creator has attached to their work: it binds you the same way yours binds others.

4. What you may not upload

  • Anything you do not have the right to share, or that infringes someone else's rights.
  • Firearms, firearm components, or anything designed to defeat a legal restriction.
  • Adult or graphic content that is not marked using the site's own NSFW control.
  • Malware, or files that attempt to exploit software that opens them.
  • Content that harasses, threatens, or targets a person or group.

5. Accuracy, and misrepresentation

Describe your listing accurately. In particular, do not claim a print you did not make, upload a photograph of a print that is not of the model you are listing, or state or imply a verification the listing does not hold. The site's trust signals are only worth anything while they are true, and a listing that misrepresents any of them may be removed.

6. Selling, and why BedReady is not involved

A creator may add their own payment link to a listing. If you buy, you are buying directly from that creator, on whatever site their link points to, under whatever terms apply there.

  • The creator is the seller and the merchant of record. BedReady never receives, holds or distributes the money, and cannot see that a payment happened.
  • BedReady offers no buyer protection, no escrow, no refunds and no dispute resolution, because it is not part of the transaction and has no record of it.
  • A price shown next to a listing is displayed only. It is a number the creator entered. BedReady never charges it.
  • Payment links are restricted to a short list of known payment providers. That reduces the risk of a link pointing somewhere it should not, but it is not a check on the seller, and it is not an endorsement of them.
  • Paying does not unlock files on BedReady. A creator who sells access grants it to your account themselves, after payment.

Disputes about a sale are between the buyer and the creator. If a creator misuses the site, tell us and we will act on the listing — but we cannot recover your money, because we never had it.

7. What “✓ U1” verification means

A verified listing has had its print-profile file checked automatically to confirm it carries a genuine Snapmaker U1 profile, and a photograph of a real print confirmed by a moderator.

It is evidence that a file printed, not a promise that it will print for you. Your printer, filament, settings and environment all differ. Verification is not for sale: it cannot be bought, bundled with promoted placement, or granted in exchange for a contribution, and no other badge on the site indicates it.

8. Promoted placement and support badges

A creator may pay BedReady to promote a listing for a period. Promoted listings are always labelled as promoted. Paying for placement buys visibility for a time and nothing else — it does not affect verification, ranking signals earned by evidence, or how a listing is moderated, and it is not a guarantee of downloads, sales or any other outcome.

Support badges mark people who have voluntarily contributed to the cost of running the site. They describe a relationship with BedReady, say nothing about the quality of anyone's files, and nothing on the site is withheld from people who do not have one.

9. Moderation

Listings are reviewed, and edits to a published listing are reviewed too. We may refuse, remove, or unpublish content, and suspend accounts that break these terms. Where it is practical we will say why, and you can reply through the feedback form. If you believe something on the site infringes your rights, tell us there and we will look at it.

10. Files are provided as they are

Files here are uploaded by other people. Printing is done at your own risk: check a file before you run it, and use your own judgement about your machine and materials. To the extent the law allows, BedReady is provided “as is”, without warranty, and is not liable for loss arising from using the site, a file obtained through it, or a transaction with another user.

11. Changes

These terms may change as the site does. The date at the top says when they last did. Material changes will be noted on the site rather than made quietly.

12. Governing law

BedReady is operated from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and these terms are governed by Saudi law.
